ZERO TOLERANCE
The NHS operate a zero tolerance policy with regard to violence and abuse and the practice has the right to remove violent patients from the list with immediate effect in order to safeguard practice staff, patients and other persons. Violence in this context includes actual or threatened physical violence or verbal abuse which leads to fear for a person's safety. In this situation we will notify the patient in writing of their removal from the list and record in the patient's medical records the fact of the removal and the circumstances leading to it.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL WE TOLERATE THIS BEHAVIOUR.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Please see the Coronavirus Information page on the right of the screen for testing and vaccination information.
The South Hardwick Primary Care Network have now contacted most of our patients who are 70 and over OR extremely clinically vulnerable to offer them their first dose of the COVID vaccination. If you or a family member are in either of these categories and have not heard from the surgery or do not have a vaccination booked, please contact your surgery to arrange your vaccination as we may not have the correct contact details or may have already tried to contact you with no success.
There are no plans currently for COVID vaccinations to be delivered at individual practice level. Do not delay taking an appointment for your COVID vaccination. You may end up travelling further afield and waiting longer. Our advice to patients is to take the first available appointment they are offered and to make every effort to attend when contacted.
Everyone has an important part to play and we’re asking people to remember the following:
· when we do contact you, please attend your booked appointments.
· and please continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.
